North Texas Giving Day – What’s Next?

One week ago, we raised $47,070 in support of Living for Zachary’s mission to raise awareness and prevent sudden cardiac arrest in youth.

This year was our most successful North Texas Giving Day event to date! With your help, we were able to surpass our goal of $45,000 for the fight against SCA in young people. You advocated for youth in North Texas and beyond to receive preventative care, and to equip their organizations and schools with the necessary tools and resources to respond in the event of a cardiac emergency on campus.

“We could not be more grateful for the support of our team, those that got in the huddle with us, and for everyone who shared our mission with their friends and families,” said Living for Zachary Executive Director, Jessica Cook.

It is because of our generous supporters like you, that we can continue to provide free heart screenings, donate life-saving AEDs to youth-based organizations, collaborate with schools, develop cardiac emergency response plans, provide CPR certifications, and so much more. You can learn more about our programs on our website

There is something to be said about our 2023 Living for Zachary Huddle. This year’s huddle not only helped us go beyond the goal but helped fund great strides in Living for Zachary programs.

Let’s keep the giving momentum charging forward and see how you can continue providing tools for the community by joining our monthly giving program, The Pulse. As a member of The Pulse, you are part of a community of monthly donors committed to helping prevent sudden cardiac arrest in youth.

Your monthly gift can help support programs such as:

  • Living for Zachary SuperHeart Program
  • AED Donations
  • CPR training and Certification
  • Heart Screenings
  • Red Out and Awareness Events
  • Scholarships

Joining is simple. Visit our website, choose your monthly gift amount, and you’re done! Your generosity will have a tremendous impact on young lives as we continue to expand our programs, hold tight to our mission, and fight for a time where our children only have to worry about growing up.
