It was a sweet night, indeed. On February 26, 2022, hundreds of guests entered the doors of the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel for the first time in almost 2 years to celebrate the 12th Annual HeartBeats Gala. Energy and excitement filled every inch of the ballroom as old and new friends converged with a shared passion for saving lives from sudden cardiac arrest. It was about time this Team was together again!
During cocktail hour, guests mingled and explored hundreds of enticing silent auction packages, while VIP guests enjoyed a special chocolate and wine pairing experience in the VIP lounge. From a Golden Ticket Raffle to signature hot cocoa bomb cocktail, there were sweet details all around for guests to indulge in throughout the course of the evening.
Master of Ceremonies, Mike Doocy, welcomed guests in the ballroom and a lively program kicked off as we shared stories of lives and organizations changed by Living for Zachary’s programs over the past year. Guests enjoyed a delicious gourmet dinner, live auction, raffle drawings, impact video, and dancing to music by Limelight. We looked back at all that has been achieved for young hearts over the past 12 years and forged an exciting path forward for program expansion into the spaces our children learn and play. We celebrated new community partnerships and dreamed of all we can do together to protect our children’s hearts through youth heart screenings, AED donations, CPR training, and more. Together, we laughed, we cried, we imagined, and we took steps to create a brighter future for our children. A room filled with dreamers became doers on Gala night, and our community will be changed because of it in the months to come.
